The 10 wealthiest people in the world are businessmen and entrepreneurs who work in a variety of industries, but they all have one thing in common. As of January 2019, the 10 richest people in the world are all self-made billionaires who worked hard to achieve their goals. They are:

Jeff Bezos

ACC0rding to CBS, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is currently the wealthiest man in the world with a net worth of around $137.2 billion as of January 2019. He started the business from scratch in his garage in 1994, and today, it's the world's leading online marketplace. However, the entrepreneur's position as the wealthiest person in the world is also at risk as of 2019. He and his wife, MacKenzie S. Bezos, filed for divorce, and if she receives half of his money, she could become the wealthiest woman in the world.
