Could this be due to the fact that my laptop is too weak for this? I do not understand the technique, as I already said, so I could not check the laptop for compliance with the minimum requirements.

I don't know, my laptop fits to the minimal requirements, but still the game won't launch. You can see minimum requirements on the page of the game. I would paste it here, but my Steam is in Russian language, I bet you won't understand anything, sorry.

Try to reinstall EAC. go to EAC setup and run it.
